Step
1: You have to download and install
the software :-)

to find the latest version of ASP Helper.
After downloading and installing the software, you should register it.

Step
2: Now run the software. The first
screen that you get is a registration screen.
if you have registered it, you can enter the registration code
and continue.
If you do not have a registration code, simply click ok to
continue. |

3: Now you have to select a database
to work with.
Click on the icon that is circled in red.

4: This will open up a screen where
you can select a database to work with. You can either select an
Access Database by clicking the icon circled in RED. Or you can
enter the details of your SQL Server Database.
After filling in the data, click OK to continue

5: Now you will be back to the Options
Screen. Now click "Next Step" at the bottom of of the
screen. This will take you to the following screen. You will
notice that the Next Step button has not become "Generate
ASP". Now click
"Generate ASP"

Step
6: This will take you to the next
screen where you can generate all the corresponding pages. Now
click again on "Generate ASP". It will create around
two to seven pages depending on the options that you have
chosen.

Step 7:
To create pages to search, view, edit and delete data from the
database, Click on the button called "View Data"
in the Menu. Now click again on the "View Data"
menu item. You will get the following screen.
Here select the table that you want to use from the list at the
bottom right corner and click "Next Step"

Step 8:
This is the screen where you can select what fields you want to
search on.
You can select the fields by clicking on the Status of the field.
Clicking on the status will toggle the option. Make sure that all
fields that you want to use for searching should have
"USE" status and others should have Ignore Status
You can also change the label to be used. Give some meaningful
caption in label. These labels will be displayed on the search
page.
Then click "Next Step"

Step 9:
This is the page on which you will have to select the data that
should be displayed in the Search results page.
Once again you can toggle the fields to use for displaying in the
search results page by clicking on the USE/IGNORE column.
Here you should also specify which fields in the table are keys or
indexes. That is again something that you can toggle by clicking
in the column called "KEY"
Once again you should choose what will be label of the fields
when you display the results to the users. You can enter any text
here.

Step 10: In this step you
decide what should be the data that should be shown in the Details
Page. The same information would be used in the Edit and Delete
Pages.
You can select the fields by selecting their status and
customizing the labels.
After you are satisfied, click on "Generate ASP"
That's it!!!

It !!! All your pages are generated !!!
You have created more than 12 pages in less than 10 minutes.
Now simply prepare a page and give links to these generated
pages.
You can also edit these pages and tweak them to suit your
requirements.
